Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Hotel Cadro Panoramica, I appreciated the delightful ambiance of the on-site restaurants. The culinary offerings intricately reflect the rich traditions of Ticinese and Italian cuisine, with the Grottino Restaurant cleverly incorporating locally sourced products that define authentic regional flavors. For dinner, I sampled dishes that served as a homage to the area's culinary heritage, each bite reverberating with freshness. The meal was complemented by the charming setting overlooking the picturesque Lake Lugano, enhancing the overall dining experience. Breakfast left much to be desired. The selection felt stale, lacking in variety and freshness, which was a disappointment as a former food critic accustomed to vibrant morning fare. The absence of seasonal fruits or freshly baked goods was particularly notable, suggesting a need for attention in this area. With a few refinements in the dining experience, Hotel Cadro Panoramica could undoubtedly elevate its status among gastronomes visiting the region.
